i might be putting the 5speed swap on the back burner for right now. i ran into a 1971 258 that will bolt into this car and allow me to use the factory trans/bellhousing so i might go that route. it still should get low 20s with that setup and if something goes boom boom in the transmission ill have the other setup ready to go. it will be an increase from the factory 199 to the 258 so the increase in power is also a plus
