I think that it looks pretty good comparing to template. Don't you think so?

Yes sides taper towards the rear, but just slightly. I just want to use as much hatch surface as I can.

A piece of coroplast that should be enough to cover my needs costs around 60 PLN (less than 20USD) I will need some additional parts though but that shouldn't be an issue.
