Would you be able to attach the "lower pieces" to the top pieces via a spring/slide mechanism, so when the wheels go up so does the bottom half of the tail rises. This would allow the tail to be closer to the ground without touching on large potholes/bumps. I am making the assumption that the bottom pieces are separate from the top.

Also what do you guys think putting a small high torque motor on the back disc brake to enable lower gears on the counter shaft and rear sprocket?
