If you get to do it be especially careful about your stopping distance.I did a complete throttle lift at the mile and coasted at closed throttle until about 200-yards from the turnoff,just kissing the brake pedal bit-by-bit.The 3/4-mile exit came very fast and your Jetta is just gonna want to roll and roll.
This is why the Texas Mile concerns me.The truck has so little drag that the brakes become really important,and they say that there's very little distance to decelerate.
Hope Loring AFB is longer!
