I just found this thread and looked at the calendar......seems a lot like September 23rd, uh hem?

Yer not talking about Hondas Sport Hybrid SH-AWD are ya? Googled that and it seems like it makes sense. Power the front wheels with an engine, and the rear wheels with 2 electric motors that can also regen brake and go some distance on electric power only. Also by using one motor/generator for each rear wheel, you can vector the power for dynamic handling control, break the inside tire and power the outside to really scoot around corners...blah ditty blah.

I'd just make it so you could put a 70HP ICE in a car for cruising and still have 40HP in electric to get you accelerated when needed for 110HP and oodles of torque down low. Make it all super efficient in a Honda Civic type car with .24 Cd and presto, 65MPG without thinking about it. Even though we just thought about it. But that doesn't count. I don't even think they need to bother with the whole vector thing, just keep it simple and make it as efficient as possible.

Old link, so it prolly ain't this after all.

Car & Driver Explains Honda Sport Hybrid SH-AWD

Just searched EcoModder and there is no mention of this system, so I may start a thread about it later. 130AM here in MT, G'Night.
