I have a 1500 watt KATs engine water heater that I have connected to the original heater core using a 12v RV hot water pump. It is an open system with an expansion tank that I also use to fill the system.
I should have the heater system running this weekend, I just need to hook up the control wires to the Honda temperature control unit then I will be all set. The A/C is going to take longer, but I don't need that until probably next year so I can take my time.
Once I get the heat and new plates I am going down to the Honda dealer for an inspection and alignment and see what their reaction is.
