I don't do ABA tests. I did compare last summer's avg mpg with a similar period this year. I'm guessing most of the gain is due to the rounded intake area molded into the filter inside vs the straight tube intake of the OEM filter box.

I did notice that after installing the filter that I needed to rest the fuel used
in the SG for two consecutive tanks. Possibly the SG was sensing greater air flow from the MAF and indicating greater fuel use...fuel use that wasn't happening?

IMO...the whole ABA thing is nice when it happens but can be limiting and misleading as far as discovering what works for a particular vehicle.

WAY TOO MUCH "didn't work for me...or can't work at all" on this forum. So...what happens? Nobody tests anything because someone says it didn't or won't work...and somebody ALWAYS says that....especially if it involves increasing combustion efficiency.

I hunt easter eggs...if I think some mod might work...and I can manage the mod....and if I want to...I test it. It's that simple.

I don't need to prove to anyone that it does work....you need to do that yourself.
