I read that Audi is testing a system in there A7 to create a "gravity hybrid". Who knows if it is going to be produced but from what it sounds like, it hypermiles for you. Turning the engine off and causing you to coast when it can ect. They claim it was showing 10% improvement in fuel economy over the stock A7. Maybe we will see this utiliezed in their TDI cars as well at somepoint.

(On a side note, I think this line of thinking would be great for most of the general public to be forced by their car to hypermile!)
