We had 72-hours of off time before we left Danang AFB and flew over to "BASE-X", Takli,Thailand on TDY.
Smoke is great,and whenever I would see aerobatic aircraft or exhibition skydiving teams streaming smoke across the field of view,I knew it would dovetail well into road vehicle flow imaging.I just felt that it would need to be done in a controlled environment.
If I ever get desperate though,I do reserve the right to 'break an oil control ring',filling the wake with blue smoke,after which apologizing to all for the engine failure. Wink,wink!
