I have had these tires and they worked very well, just watch when you first get them that you clean off the mold release agent off the tire. Its a bit slippery in the dry and would be deadly in the wet I would think. I just did tight circles in a parking lot leaning lower and lower and that got it all off. Find some sandy pavement too and practice some corners to see how they react, they aren't terrible but level of grip changes dramatically from clean dry pavement to sandy pavement. Practice stopping is a good idea, these tires have way more grip than a knobby tire. I ran them at 45psi, a good comprimise for grip and rolling.
