I love riding to work, I ride whenever I can and my bike has the scars to prove it. Thankfully I've never been hit, but I've layed the bike over more then a few times, either tipped over while unclipping at a light or misclipping coming off a light or just hitting some debris, my main problem with commuting seems to be staying on my bike as a cause of my own doing, thankfully it usually happens when stationary.

My question to all you trike riders on the site. How do you ride those things on the road? They're so much wider then a bicycle or bent that it seems like you would protrude out on the road to the point that people would find it annoying and get much more irritated with you then they do when you're on a bicycle.
