Sorry for my ignorance ,I'm not very technical.

From what I've read is Lean burn safe in stationary & in 1st / 2nd gear as the lean burn temperature is actually lower than standard operating temperature ?

Use of this will depend on how hot the climate is ?

I always assumed lean burn activated in 3rd gear onwards as those gears as it allowed the cat (mounted facing the front of the car) to be cooled at speed.
