6.2's in like new condition can literally be purchased for $150 off uncle sam, the NV3500 that mates up usually in the $100-$350 area with full potential donar vehicles as low as $500 for the whole kit an kabootle with everything you need.

So the 120-160hp 6.2 comes in as the best cost per HP

Since its RWD its just a matter of getting your driveshaft and motor mounts right and making sure the speedo can "see" the XMSN signal, of coarse there is no ECU so other goodies might become unhappy.

Ah well thats the price of cheap.

And a 6.2 isn't super heavy like a cummins, it would fit fine in a lincoln and get 30mpg+ the whole while.
