Started framing out my rear wheel skirts today. Now you know why I had those PVC pipes in the rear fer...

Some basic framework...


Trying to git the proper clearance...removed the chrome trims.






Since playing with a partial rear wheel skirts about a year ago, I know I want to pivot the rear wheel skirts where the top of the side molding starts (hence the top wire divider). The rear wheel skirts will have their own support bracket that isn't attached to the side skirts as the frame flexes and would affect the rear wheel skirts if they were attached. This will also allow me to easily access the rear tire fer rotation or repair.

Thinking about making a quick paper mache pattern to make sure I have the proper clearance from the tires. The bottom of the wheel skirts will match up with the side and rear skirts. Thinking about using some more Coroplast or leftover FRP as my test material. We'll see how things turn out.
