I also went back to 12* on my timing ( red line ) not 14* so we will see how we go from here
Yes, though the MPG is likely slightly off.

When you fill your tank, reset the Average mpg and distance. tell the guage you filled the tank. Drive a whole tank, then fill again and do the calibration. (the procedure is in the very comprehensive PDF instructions on their website)
