1994 Oldsmobile Achieva with the SOHC 4 aka Quad OHC and 4 speed auto. 1994 was the last year for the SOHC version of that engine. 1995 and up were only Twin Cam, the engine formerly known as Prince, errr, Quad 4.

My folks used to have one, it'd easily get 40 MPG in highway driving, including long stretches at 75 MPH. They gave it to my sister for her pizza delivery job. Got great city MPG too, better than the dinky little 1992 "Pontiac" LeMans with its gutless 1.6L and 3-speed auto.

She has the "Pontiac" due to a suicidal deer that used the Acheiva to end its life somewhere north of Jackpot, NV.

That "Pontiac" is actually an Opel design. When GM was done with it, they sold the design to Daewoo then paid the Koreans to stick the Pontiac name on them and export to the USA. When Daewoo was done with it they sold the design to a company in Uzbekistan where it's still being built, though with a more powerful engine.
