Driving equation:

CO$T = $ × T

where:
CO$T = total cost of trip.
$ = cost of labor, fuel, etc.
T = time duration of labor, fuel, etc. costs.


...of course, when you DIE in a crash, all the above variables immediately go to ZERO or INFINITY, as appropriate.

...it's really just a "nulling" effort, least $ and least T = lowest total cost in both money ($) and time (T), which is where ecomodders excel by striving to maximize FE over minimizing time!
