I still love the look of these cars, yet keep finding things that change my opinion of the car .
The latest being the safety rating.
A first generation Insight is actually rated safer in a crash, despite having an aluminum body that is nearly 500 lbs. lighter than the MX-3.
I just always assumed that the Insight would crush like a soda can in an accident, and that the steel mx-3 would hold up better.
So horrible fuel economy, horrible Cd ( given its teardrop shape ) , very heavy , slow as mollases - even with the V-6 , not very safe, prone to rusting, not very reliable, and as pointed out in the previous posts the car has a massive blind spot.
Is there anything good about the MX-3 besides the look ?
