So what does everyone do to protect their controllers from the elements?

Paul told me to put my controller near my motor so I am planning to throw it up under the hood. I'm not completely sure yet just how I am going to protect it from any road spray that may come up into the engine compartment. How is everyone else doing this?

Also, I have my FB1-4001 installed now...I imagine the thing is at least somewhat resistant to water and road spray but is there anything to be concerned with? Do I need to think about a belly pan or other type of spray shielding? Should I avoid puddles like the plague?
