I don't think the rear spoiler on the xA helps very much, and it might actually hurt a little bit -- it is basically flat which is much better than raised, but it should be angled down to be of any help. An good ecomod Kammback would be the way to go, and not having the factory spoiler there would be the best place to start.
If you look at the RAV 4 EV spoiler, I think it is really a small Kammback.
