I have used heated motorcycle gloves that wire directly to the battery. There were actual hot spots on the inside of my wrists that actually almost got burned if left on too long. A thin liner in between would have fixed that.

A roller switch would be much easier for on and off in a car as opposed to fumbling on a motorcycle.

Maybe $60.00 or so ???

Heated socks sound nice.

I have tried gloves with a D battery in them. Rather heavy; we don't want carpo tunnel
right???

The main reason I don't continue use of my gloves, is that they will tempt me to ride
when it is so cold that there will be ice hazards!
