Though the apex is farther back. The Jaray concept bugs me - it seems to be 2D thinking trying to be 3D? The sharp corner at the intersection between the shapes would add drag, by definition, and it requires two distinct "expansions" of the air, which seems less than ideal.

Jaray's form is pure 3-D.It's the original 'pumpkin seed.'
It's a little 'fast',but was one of the inspirations for the 'Template.'
GOOGLE has a photo of the original model as tested by Wolfgang Klemperer in the Zeppelin tunnel in 1922.
If you look at the work of Lay,Koenig-Fachsenfeld,Kamm,and others,you can see how they all leaned on Jaray.
