I had one, it was quite enjoyable in the sense of riding in a roller skate. No cushie ride there. 40+ mpg and usually closer to 50, if I recall correctly.
It was a 5 speed, in rougher shape then the one you are talking about here, but still pretty okay and fun to drive.
Not a bad choice if you can live with it. I would say it is probably better than driving a Smart car at least.
snap it up, flip it somewhere else when someone complains of mpg and sell for $1000.
