Brand? Whatever floats your boat. Mobil 1 is not that expensive and is readily available.
Weight? If it's the original D15 (B2?) motor, I remember that 5W30 is one of the recommended ones. I wouldn't hesitate to run 0W30, but I don't think I'd go as far as 0W20. If you still have the owner's manual, you can check in there.
