I had great luck with the crane Hi 6 s ignition, throws multiple sparks at lower revs and smooths out the engine nicely, super easy install also ,summit racing has them , so far used them on 4 vehicles unfortunately not the one I'm driving now, saving up and looking for used, also if you get into timing and are stock now you can easily advance 2 to 4 degrees from stock and pick up power , not sure about mileage but probably so , another must is the redline synthetic in the rear differential , call summit on that best price, and their tech guys are good also , If you can get a hold of some 4 cyl rims might save a mpg or two on that over the bigger ones, should be cheap . good luck
