woo hoo, its here. Has an awesome speed vs. fuel economy chart in the owners manual! love that german engineering, will figure out how to load it up here, highlights are: 58mpg at 25mph :-) 47mpg at 40mph. Nice, can work with that.

Got the drivers door latch and window fixed.
Next is brakes, traced the poor brakes to leaky master cylinder. Thank the baby Jesus that the vacuum pump is good, I guess they are unobtanium.
Just need to do a valve adjustment and compression check to verify that the engine is doing well before I buy my brake master cylinder, then can move onto the fun hypermiling stuff.

On the horizon:
Trouble shoot people heater (block heater works great :-)
trouble shoot wipers.
max tire pressure
belly pan
rear wheel well skirts
balanced/rebuilt injectors
electric fan(have an old taurus high volume one that was free)
pizza pan smooth wheel covers
synthetic fluids
underside of hood insulation
grill block if heat load allows
wheel bearings
what do ya'll think?
