@MikeF I don't believe you should use the tranny tunnel as your solution. The shape is like the intake side of a venturi, therefore it would compress the air increasing the air temperature (compression) and heat your transmission, not the best place to add heat. I would consider venting into the area behind the front wheels. This is a low pressure area and your heated air is "softer" and therefore expands quicker to fill this low pressure zone.
