noob here

Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while and, and in addition to installing a vacuum gauge today I decided I'd join in the discussion.
I've been driving gently and maintaining my truck in hopes for better mpg and I hope I can ask around here for ideas in maximizing what I have.
Even though it's a truck, it's a pretty economical 5 speed Chevy S10 2.2l 4 banger. I usually get 23-25mpg with no mods (my canopy is the only thing not stock) and I'm hoping my new vac gauge will help teach me how to drive more efficient. If I can hit 30 mpg for city/hwy mix I'll be one jolly SOB!
