I know this is a lazarus bump but since I have a 93 vx and am having an issue with the guino I thought it best to keep all the info together especially since I used the instructions here.
The issue is that the guino is not turning on when using the data link connector +12v power (light blue wire) per nacht's instruction. In looking at the haynes/mitchell repair manuals it show the blue wire going into d7 on the ecu but I can't find out what happens inside the ecu.
Also according to those manuals, the data link connector center terminal (white/red) goes to the #3 fuse, driver's side fuse box. If I connect to that center terminal the guino turns on and works.
Can I just use that center terminal? Why would the outside terminal not be providing power?
Tia.
