This was an initial investigation to see where the trouble spots were. We plan to complete further testing to better understand the troubled regions.
The only attachment we observed looked to be generated from the large vortex from the side of the vehicle over the C-Pillar to the back glass. The centerline did not seem to have attached flow. Video from another Youtube user initially looked like it had attached flow, however, after analyzing our data, I believe the flow witnessed in their video is also vortex flow interacting with the rear wiper.
