you could use the 80/20 extruded aluminum for your next phase ,allowing for a prototype chassis or changes on the fly,it is strong enough to be used in real world testing.A cheap Harbor freight table saw and a metal blade,cuts it like butter.Just a thought to keep costs down,its like a erector set.They have lots of hardware,to make just about anything.
