I used to be on redpepperracing as well but didn't agree with the racing part, good info though.
the 1984 civic dx hatch I used to drive I had a life time average of 42.2mpg, still have the car but it was totaled by a pickup, also had a 1985 crx hf that I just sold to my brother, the big downside of them is that as they age they start to burn oil due to it only having 2 rings instead of 3 so at 190,000 miles I spent $400 and had a good used engine and tranny installed by a local shop and it drives great.
