I may have been misinformed, because the closest thing I can find is this:

but the person who first brought this up to me left out the fact that there was an exception for 3 wheeled motorcycles, they were at the time saying that this would prevent 3 wheeled Zap brand cars and trucks from being sold as motorcycles.
