This is giving me ideas.

I could have a 4" air splitter that draws from two sources: one warm, one cold. A temperature sensor down the intake further, so the air has time to mix better, can get the intake air temperature. A control board could then operate a gate to maintain the intake at an ideal preset temperature.

Are their any advantages to pre-heating the fuel, too?
