You don't have to hypermile, you could employ techniques as you can. If there is one thing to take away from eco driving... it is how the brake system's job is to convert momentum into heat and brake dust. Momentum is generated by the vehicle's engine which uses fuel. It would then stand to reason that using the brake effectively wastes fuel.

There are many efficiency tips you can use but your route will be different than other routes and your vehicle is different than other vehicles. Some testing and experimentation will be required.
