FYI Flood soesnt mean it was at the bottom of a river. If a "new" vehicle gets water up to undercarrige its a flood car.
This is determined by the insurance agency not dealers etc.
It is no longer able to be sold as a "new" car after that.
It may sneak through if water does not touch engine, trans, or wet the carpet liner.
On the other hand flood vehicles here in MS. tend to have a combination or water that is toxic to cars electrical systems.
Salt and fresh combined, when it hits the carpet liner as I said figure 5-8 year shelf life to all electrical connections that diddnt die outrite. and immediate surface corrosion to all bare immersed metals copper, aluminum, and steel surfaces.
