I have had great luck with grid charging my civic. It saved me the bucks for the new HV battery the dealer wanted to pass off. Thanks for all the info I've gotten from this site.
I need to reset the IMA after charging. I noticed that the fuse in my 2003 Civic for the IMA is #16 as opposed to #18 that's been passed around for the Insight. On my Civic #18 says ACC/Cigar. But.... #16 doesn't reset it. Even if left out for 30 minutes the old reading just bounces back. Until I get around to one of the reset devices, is there another way to reset it besides pulling the 12V? Maybe it's not possible without the OBDII codes. Or maybe I should try #18 for cigarette ligher... it might be a secret code for IMA????
