I've had this before, usually in the dry of winter. I've concidered two possible solutions. First grounding straps for the car. Years ago there were straps that hung from the frame of the car and dragged on the ground to dissipate static buildup. Second, carry a stiff wire and touch it to the ground before climbing out of the car. This might move the shock to the ground end of the wire instead of hand to door. Still have not tried either.
