Hi Paul
After I replaced the MOSFETS my controller was fine
Took the car up to Dunedin for certification
Drove well - lots of go - took it up to 100Kph on the "motorway"
passed certification
I am still waiting for the cert plate to get it on the road but I intended using the car at the 1/8th mile drags this Sunday
THEN
I went out to the car to move it
12v switch and first contactor OK
pre-charge - light stayed on???
switched the "forwards contactor OFF
pre-charge light went out
switched on second contactor
switch on reverse
BANG --- car jerked backwards - smoke came out of vents
I will strip it down but it seems to have eaten its MOSFETS
