I think they have egr. I'm not really a hundred percent sure yet. Supposedly it is tuned for more power and might let lean burn engage longer. Of course most foreign countries run higher octane fuel so that might be a negative if it starts pinging. I haven't installed it yet but I'm curious to see what it does. I might wait til it gets warmer so the constantly changing cold temperatures don't become a variable with cold starts.
