I think we're just going to install a good ol'd fashioned oil pressure gauge in it. The mechanic asked if I'd like him to just do it - he can get them cheap. I told him ok, but I don't have a ton of money to spend (one vacant rental house that needs new carpet & a new garage door, and another one coming vacant March 1st).

I asked him to try to install the gauge BEFORE he changes the oil & then get a reading with what's in there now. Then we can compare to what the 0-20 does.

Good to hear you're doing ok with 0-20 in your FireFly, MetroMPG!

I'm also thinking about changing the transmission oil. I read on here that "GM Syncromesh" oil is the way to go, and I think someone else said it's actually the same as another type - was it Pennzoil? Are these both synthetic?

Thanx

EDIT: Just found & read all the threads on transmission oils. Wow - lots of stuff there to take into consideration!!
