14 years? Maybe that says the battery technology has peaked and the issue is with wind or rolling resistance?

Electric vehicles have been around for almost 100 years. They made them back in the day with reusable lead acid batteries as they didnt require warm up like todays cars. I think Jay Leno has one called the Baker Electric Truck.

Toyota made an electric RAV4 back in the 90s and GM had the EV1.

Its my experience many of the new vehicles brought to market are limited to residents in a few states, prehaps with the worse economies and at that for lease, not ownership. Unless you run a business a lease, at least most of them are not in your favor unless you want an EV to drive.
