- Stick with 2006-2007 models; they're rated at 20/28mpg vs. new models 19/25
- Invest in narrower rims and tires
- Study and practice hypermiling techniques
- Ecomod the car
- Consider some other vehicle - Solstice/Sky are on Edmunds Top 100 Worst Cars list
