well its not flat like north Dakota but pretty flat..
The HF's sweet spot (jusdging by other first gen CRX hf's is just under 2000 rpm .. that's what im trying to get to for a cruising speed..
The idea here is i'm moding this car out quite extreamly.. they will effect the way it will drive, I've added about 100 pounds in weight to the car.. its areo is significantly different than a stock CRX. at this point changing the final drive ratio via tires allows easy experimentation with out dropping in a entire tranny.
basically this entire thing is a experiment.. sure a tranny swap would be the ideal way to do it. however this isnt the ideal car any longer.. its a experiment
