It makes no sense on hybrids, a gallon of gas could make them get to the next station without further wait.
But pure electric cars cannot be filled with gas to good effect, for them the service is useful.
Maybe they can charge while on the move, making everyone wonder why the tow rope is hanging slack, or how a little Miev could be able to tow a big charging truck
