I couldn't agree more. Anyone remember the Mercedes' Boxfish design? I seem to remember reading they wouldn't build it because it was (paraphrasing) too ugly. I think if they can sell the Smart car, they could sell a Boxfish.
The boxfish prototype has a drag coefficient of .19! If Mercedes was too scared to build it, they should've given, or at least offered to license the design to Smart.
