New to the forum and glad that I found it.
I own a 2007 Toyota Corolla LE (MT). Although I was hoping to get a Prius (last year), my credit rating would not allow me to buy it, so the dealer suggested the Corolla. Since I commute 90 miles on a daily basis, I had to have something very efficient. This car proved to be it.
There is room for improvement for its 39mpg at the moment using the tips that I read on this site. This is the first time that I have 'shifted' the way I drive towards a more economic way, so I will have to wait to see how this pans out. I am hoping to break 40mpg or more. Until now usually my autonomy would be 405 miles max. Using the advice from this forum I am now at 430 miles with a quarter of a tank left
