I read on here somewhere that Ford even recomended unplugging the KS. It was too sensitive and will retard your timing even when there is no ping present. I'll try it. I can always plug it back in. I just filled up and calculated an actual 35.7 mpg for 225 miles mixed city/hwy. I want to get to 40.
