The waste oil heater in my old shop must be close to 20 years old now. I think it was 185k BTU. It used a ceramic coated difuser plate and a fuel injector with the oil preheated and spark ignited. It was so efficient you could stick your hand in the exhaust pipe indefinitely. Serviced annually and still seems to be working great, and made in the USA. I still collect all of my used motor oil and take it to them 14 years after I sold the shop.
