Counting that by the factor of miles traveled over a year it will give you few galons of saved fuel. Every bit counts as they say ;-)
alas, the traffic I drive in does not allow ME to feel comfortable with having the engine off- Arragonis will confirm that traffic on the m8 is haphazard at best.

It may work for others, in different environs, but not for me

instead I opt for the 55mph approach.. The shift from Petrol to Diesel offers me significant cost savings and better resource conservation, without having to go to every last extreme
